Looking for information on a 40 ford coupe that Joe law built.
I think I have it but not 100% sure.
    Thanks for the help

Maybe some further information might help your quest here. Like, where are you, where is Joe Law and who is Joe Law? Maybe a picture of said '40 Ford. And if I were you, I would plead with Ryan to change my screen name.........just sayin'.

Absolutely. Likely someone here can help you out-with more information and pictures. But, we don't tolerate anything involving people named Tom.

Oh, sorry, I meant Rat Rods. Welcome to the HAMB. :)

I remember Joe for his LSR cars and of all things his ability to get some tires made. He needed 300 + mph front tires for his lakester and was able to get M&H to do them for him.
Kraus in Northern California was the dealer for us and there were enough made for a lot of high speed cars. When you called you asked for the “Joe Law” tires. They were for the front and about 23”. At that time there were very few smaller diameter tires and also rears.
I no nothing about his street cars but his 32 shocked a lot of us and his lakester was one of the very few over 300 at the time.

Wow. I wonder if that's the same guy? Tom, any cross reference to location of the coupe when found, past registration addresses, etc.?
If it's 30 ft long and about 3ft wide, it was likely his. Just sayin'.

Read some of that and also if the coupe weighs 4000lbs it was likely his!

Joe Law is very distant cousin from the good side of my ancestry. It goes way back to the old country

Well if it is the Joe Law from West Virginia who was a record holding land speed racer the guys may have lead you to the right person.
Clipped from an article from 1995.

Joe Law of West Virginia, had a down run of 309.562 mph and was able to put in a good return run to set a record in C gas of 296.193, which smashed the old mark of 265.23.

Somehow, the OP has only previously posted in Cars For Sale. One must conclude he wants to establish provenance to sell this one too. :(
