I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same color, just different names for the different car lines the Chrysler Corp sold.
You have to almost be moving that fast to keep the LARGE hood and roof "wet" while painting by yourself.
Thanks everyone for all the positive comments. I hope to have it back on the road for the spring car season here in Minnesota where I live, and in Wisconsin where my shop is.
im waiting to see it rolled out with a full side view . the best chop is one that most people dont even know they are looking at .in my opinion . looks like thats what you got going !! id still love to see a diag with the cuts . im thinking about a pie cut on my hood . but i think ill wait till i come across a replacement . better safe than stupid .and i can destroy the evidence if need be !
BJR, Great job on the 49. Blue looks great on both yours and Rock's. I finally got back on mine this week. Had it running this afternoon. Talked with Rock yesterday about a 49 trim piece I sent him. Maybe we can all end up at the same show next Summer
But won’t a Dodge color make a Buick rust out faster? Kind of like a rash on a pretty girl. Just kidding man, it looks great! I really like the color also.
So I sanded the clear coat with 800 and shot another gallon of clear on it. I think I am finished painting the body.
