So people are telling me that posts about my 63 nova build with new suspension and a 500+hp engine wanting to do a 5000 mile road trip will be deleted because I'm upgrading my engine and suspension. Is this true?
Best think would not to mention the suspension or specifics on the engine. But then again you just did. PM a mod and ask first. That way you won't end up po'd if you start a thread and it gets deep sixty. JMO
The replies and views are blanked out on this thread - no idea what that means? Replies: – Views: – Your original thread is still standing.
If you build your car with traditional parts and engine modifications then you will probably be okay to stick around and post about it. If not then yes your build might be deleted. But that’s in no way negative if you understand the rules of the forum that you want to participate in.
There are other car forums. Each one is different. Try https://www.streetrodding.com/forums/ https://www.hotrodders.com/forums/ The Hamb is for 1965 and older, traditional builds. (for the most part). They are not being mean, just keeping the Hamb somewhat pure to what it is all about.
Straight from the boss, first thread, rules and guidelines, top of the page where you do your new member introduction.... Please note that we don't focus on things such as modern fuel injected motors, big-inch wheels, frame clips, after market independent suspensions, etc... at all on the H.A.M.B.. As such, posts that stray away from the "traditional inspired" will be deleted.

Yes it is true…… Fuel injection, Mustang II, clipped or late ch***is, Billet, late model engine dress up etc etc etc and it’s going to be deleted. Any questions on posting anything send me a private message. Thanks, Moderator
Forget the rod. Focus on your travel question. You shouldn't have a problem. People will have lots of suggestions.
Marc I would think u can find much more.info on novas from a nova forum, I have my 65 bonneville mild custom but I seem to get much more info from pontiac full size than I would here, I linger in both forums for max info [emoji106]
