Making cool ****! So way back in the mid-2000’s we had this brilliant kid show up here on the HAMB. He went by chromedRAT from Zanesville, Ohio turns out his name is Josh Leasure. Son of a dairy farmer who was artistic and was playing around with lost wax casting. He was making these super rad aluminum skull shifter knobs. He did a few tech posts on the lost art of lost wax casting and whoa’d us weekly in the art thread. I like many others were all but too happy to collect and support him. Myself I even commissioned a full warbonnet headdress Indian Chief skull for my 58 Apache at the time. But…I never had a good way to display them, and they need displayed IMO. +15 years later I finally did something about it. 3/8” all-thread, a handful of 1/2” tube, and a s**** bearing cage for a base and boom. Then a trip to Darren Davenport @accucoat here in Houston for some bright white powder.
I have some Of Joshes creations. Haven’t seen him here for a good while. These are too notch castings. Great looking display. Wow you have quite a few. I have one that I’d sell to an Alliance Member.
Thats a great one. Yours would make somebody happy as hell! If someone has one that I don’t have and they’d entertain coming off it, I’d be game. I know Im missing the long naked lady. Don’t remember the details how I missed her. But I did.
