Old Skool Fuel Line

    What he said. It has a tendancy to get brittle and crack with use.

    I actually saw an old ford truck running that stuff leak fuel onto the exhaust then catch fire. When the fuel pump kept running the flames reached three feet higher than the cab of the truck. It took two extinguishers to put it out.

    The deal with this stuff is ...... YOU NEED TO REPLACE IT FREQUENTLY !!!!

    Thats why cars catch fire, People alow it to get past the hard stage .. to the brittle stage ... and then it BREAKS !!

    SO.... If yer gonna run it, buy alot so you can maintain it .... switch it out OFTEN .....Before it gets to the point it may break

    ...and it looses its red color if you don't have a hood. That is the good time to replace it.

    I'd also be really curious as to how this stuff stands up to gas with ethanol in it,which is all you can get around here. Can't be better.
