This is an old original roadster that was channeled and welded to a ‘36 frame back in the day. It was originally welded to this frame, that I cut away and discarded. The cowl vent is leaded into place and an abundance of bondo was used around the base of the body. We have been collecting the parts for this build for years to put this back as a traditional hot rod hiboy. If you are looking to build a grand national show-style hot rod, this is not the project for you, and you would be better off with a Brookville or 50 or 60k restored car. The parts collected and included with this sale are the lower patch panels, top cowl section with vent, original sedan floor and subrails, original lower below rear deck lid panel, windshield stancions, original grill, with extra insert and 25-louvre hood sides, dash, gas tank (notched for quickchange), your choice of an original frame with stock front and rear cross members or set of very nice original rails, along with an original A front and rear cross member and ‘34 x member. ‘32 heavy axle and wishbone, ‘36 rear banjo and wishbones. Your choice of F-1 or rebuilt ‘34 steering box. Most importantly, a ***le also goes along with this. Also available for extra $$: Halibrand V-8 quickchange, with ‘36 tubes rebuilt by Hot Rod Works; Kelsey spoke wheels with rare Stewart Warner wheel covers; custom roadster dash with Packard insert and vintage working aged 2 5/8 Stewart Warner gauges; original Lincoln front and rear brakes; dropped front axle; original bomber seats, and even a rebuilt ‘49 Cadillac with speed parts or built Merc flatty with ‘39 box, plus a variety of additional speed parts we have been collecting for a long time.
