1950 ford custom v8 overheating

    ok i need some help 1950 ford custom flathead v8 its overheating. since the problem started I have had rad rodded out, replaced the water pumps , new 180 stats, gauge on dash goes to hot. I install a mechanical gauge just to be sure and it reads 210 in about 30 mins of driving and stays there!
    any help please

    I don't think 210 is overheating.

    Has it boiled over , 210 is that with just water or 50-50 anti . How Many pound radiator cap ?
    Normal temp depending on outside temp should be 190 .

    no boil over, 7 lb cap, 50-50 coolant

    Buy one of those infrared guns , there helpful . Check one side vs the other .
    If doesn’t boil over you have no issue .
    Does the system recover quickly after you push the car hard.
    Is the fan clearance 1” from back of radiator .
    I’ve used a radiator shroud which does help pull the air thru at idle.

    At idle try the bed sheet trick . At idle hold a bed sheet in front of the grill to see how the fan is pulling . It should pull the sheet into the grill .

    checked with ir gun temps are within 5 degrees side to side
    fan clearance is 1 1/16
    just driving easy temp goes up seems not to come down until eng is shut off
    does not boil over
