Oldfart I'm not exactly sure but I don't think so. I had a set on my MG once and the headers fit both the angle plug and straight plug old fuelie heads. And the headers wound up in the same place ch***is wise.

Ok that what I thought they were stock locations

The trouble I'm having can't find header to fit in my Ch***is with angle plug heads

  4. I always thought the angle plugs helped on the header clearance.
Shouldn’t normal headers fit angle plug heads also ?

Angle plug heads and header interference has been a problem since angle plug heads were introduced. There are short plugs on the market that I have heard used in this situation. Though I can't help with brands or part numbers.
Also it has been shown that a well placed dent in the offending tube won't hurt performance.

Yes I was told but my headers I have are to small for my motor

    Have a 406 with a .513 roller camshaft and 9.5 compression
    The header I have are 1 1/2 tube and 2 1/2 flange

They quit making the the header I want they are 1 7/8 and 3 1/2 outlet

The only thing I fond is fenderwhell hearder

I don't know all the particulars of your engine but it should be well supported with 1&3/4" headers, which will bolt directly to your heads, as far as I recall most 1&7/8" headers require adapters.
