The Bob Bondurant Story ​

 

Bummer.

Back in the '80s I had a desk job, and a gym membership. One night while pedaling a stationary bike, a guy plopped onto the bike next to me. He started pedaling faster, so I did too. My old Vette was one of the few cars in the parking lot. He asked if it was mine and we got to talking cars. He introduced himself:
Bob Bondurant.

Condolences to the Bondurant family and friends on the p***ing of this racer and Hotrodder...as evidenced by what you've shared he certainly had one helluva' ride to the finish line...quite an all star line up of racecars...and the drive home was in fine style as well...may he Rest in Peace...

Wow,
I didn't see this coming. Feels like a family friend. Never met the guy but he has been around motorsports all of my life. Damn it man!

 

Another legend gone. RIP

 

Sad to see that, he was one that I followed closely when I was young.
