To the guys that dislike this car - fair enough - esp for your own reasons.
As to it not being "traditional", due to when it was built, & the design profile/etc, IIRC, it was patterned to emulate & evoke the profile of the JADO SPL. At least from the side. & maybe the rear & rear 3/4 views. The nose is totally different, which kinda disappointed me at 1st, but I still like it. A lot. Very Drag &/or Bonneville styled.
Dale, do know for sure, one way or another?
JT: nice job. It looks like you opened the nose up a fair amount, compared to Jims'. Optical illusion? It's the only thing that looks slightly "off" to me, but I get air needs to come in... :D . That car rocks.
    Marcus...

Finished the car the night of Wednesday September 8 and left for the NSRA Nats North in Kalamazoo Thursday morning. Up and back without any problem. Came home with the Pros Pick Award and a photo shoot for a full feature in Street Scene magazine this coming January or February. The photographer may even do a few side by side shots with library photos he has of the original car. That would be cool. Below is a night shot of my car taken by another rodder at our hotel long after I went to sleep. He is much more creative than I. The eyeballs are on the billboard in the next lot over. Thanks everyone for you kind words. Jim
To answer the wizard above the opening in the nose of my car is 50% larger than the original to enable cooling. The entire trip to the Nats it never ran above 190 degrees. Fresh air helps

How come you haven't reached out to Frank? I'm sure he'd love to hear how your project turned out.
