Was looking around property today with a friend trying to find the hogs hideout and ran across this find...Owned the property for 10 yrs now and didn't know it was there. Anyone know of this Stude's yr and model? Also I found the others not far from this Stude.... Looks to be a couple '36's and a '40 Ford. And maybe a 32 w/out it's cover.

That Stude looks to be about a 40 or 41 champion

Well with me and my brother being deployed over seas so much here in the past 5 yrs we haven't had a real chance to go around and explore the property....We bought the land in an estate sale and never really went out on the piece until recently. 150 acres is alot of land so maybe more out there. The elderly man down the street said back in the '50 there were four men who worked on old cars out there. I could see an old road bed leading to the back but never really followed it out. Well my brother has and found these. Crazy shit. And I'm stuck here in IRAQ...Killing me man.

I may be wrong, but it looks like one of the sedans is a Hudson Terraplane 37 or so. The other sedan looks to be a 37-38 Chevy, and the one missing the top is a 35-36 Chevy sedan. Im drinking a Bud so I afraid to turn my head over to look at the one on its top, I may never recover! And while Im here, a Big Thanks for all you are doing over there, You should be proud!

  12. Let me add my heartfelt thanks for you and your compatriots in Iraq. It is easy here to get caught up in the day to day living and forget what you are going through over there. My sincere hope is that you come home soon and get out in the sunshine and walk that 150 acres and enjoy the freedom that you are securing for us over there.
    Thanks again

  14. Hey keep up the GREAT work in Iraq! I was wondering if by chance there are lots of old American cars over there or not? If there are old American cars around there, what have you seen? :D Thank You!:D Gary 4T950 Chevy Guy

Thx for the support hot rod1940.......We are trying to make a difference here everyday. People should know that it took us some time to get our act together when we first got our independence, so hopefully things here will be not be for nothing as I have lost a few friends here and would like to have freedom in whatever form these people want to take hold. As for old American cars...Non as I can see....Sadam took care of that along time ago. But every once in a while you'll see on old chevy or ford, but junk really. The 1980's Chevy Impala and Capprice were real favorites of the Arab world, so there's plenty of them around. The general public didn't have the cash to go buy an American car. Again thx for the support.

One more voice in suport of what you're doing over there. Don't get caught up with the liberal news coverage of your efforts, a big majority of the American people are praying for your sucess and safe return.
I like your reference to our own independence and how it took time for things to get sorted out. We are too short sighted here and are into instant gratification. We want everything NOW, not like our forfathers who held a steady course and saw a job finished. Hang tough.

Need anything else be said....."What we have here is a failure to communicate", Cool Hand Luke ....I love it, thx for the support. Over all if 80 million IRAQIs didn't really want us here, then we would have much more casualties than we have. Again Thx. And shame to all Politicians who voice the crazy shit they voice about what is really going on here. God bless a President who stands his ground no matter how ugly it gets, not unlike during Vietnam. God Speed...Now back to the cars...You Rodders drive like hell and think of us troopers here that are standing Guard so you can Go- Fast. I'll be thinking of you all.
