Features Roadster Pickup........picture thread

Finally got the tires and wheels changed. Since the picture, I've reinstalled the door mirrors and got the turn signals working.
Notice the effect of firing up the big Buick on the pine straw!

 

This is the T on A chassis I've been working on.

 

The disadvantages of being 6' 4" is being a bit too tall to build a 28/29 roadster pickup and fit in it comfortably, I can't even get behind the wheel of my brother in laws 28 with the top on. HRP

 

one solution to a "too small" seating area

 

Check out Brookville they have a extender cab roadster pickup, theirs is extended in the side panel. Also Last Refuge built one Thad had role up window. I bought one and have not built it.

 

My friend built a T roadster before he finally realized it didn't fit. He was 6'6" I have no idea what he was thinking but one of the last things he did was put a seat in it, several of them.

That pickup looks overloaded. It's just a 1/2 ton.

 

I've been making slow progress on my 29 (no rush now that it's winter time). It's now in the final assembly stages. I posted some pictures when I first got it so I figured it was time for an update. I plan on finishing most of the wiring before I put the fenders back on. I bought a 32 grill, but then after studying this thread I decided I like the A grill better on these trucks. I also repainted the cowl and started making a seat base.
