There is a small gathering at the HEB in Buda on Saturday night, I35 @ exit 221. There were about 15 cars and trucks. Starts at around 7:00 pm. Located at south end of the parking lot next to Jack in the Box. Hope to see more people there. Walter
I live about a mile from this spot. We rolled through a few weeks ago with a '30 roadster and a '49 Chebby and got some dirty looks from the fellas in the muscle cars parked there, but we were just passing through. Last weekend I was cruising up to the local grab-n-go for some more cerveza and saw a flat black '49 Mercury 2dr there by himself. I pulled in and shot the shit with him for a few, then back to my place to hammer some cold ones down. Who knows, maybe the Buda HEB hangout will grow in popularity. It's a pretty central location for folks around Austin, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Lockhart, Dripping Springs, etc.

East side Central is where it's at.... so long as you don't mind the random gunfire. C'mon, T! it would be just like home!
Man, they got a Wal Mart in Baghdad now. they got a wal mart in "Desperation,Nevada" now. I am pretty sure that Antartica now has WAL MART. you're not a city until you get Starbucks AND seattles best on opposing corners...although 3 or more starbucks on the same city block seems to work. Dude, it's Buda. it's only a town because the last census counted Sheep as "family members" on the east side of 35.

I dunno, I live in So.ATX and my neighbors include: -Old drag racer/biker with a several cool projects -retired body guy -father/son team that are putting a Rat motor in late 60's Elky -a guy with a 7 foot halfpipe in his backyard -some hot girl that walks her dog in a plaid miniskirt no hippies or treehuggers; I think that's more Hyde Park/campus area
