Here's a couple pics from the 2006 Cheaterama. Thanks to the Cheaters for putting a great show. I'm still new to the scene, met some people and had a great time. You can't miss my car it was the only right hand drive deuce there. I get all kinds of questions why is it RHD and the best one was a guy walks over, I'm sitting in my car, the guy says "boy did you fuck up" hahaha. Thanks to the Cheaters again!
All the Cheaters thank everyone for comming out. We hope everyone had a good time, and hope to see you next year. I wish I could have seen more, but the burgers had to be made. Sorry if you didnt get any food, the crowd bought us out of everything, I might have to put in another freezer for next year so we can keep more stock on hand. Thanks again Chris
If I can jump in, here's a few more that I took. There were plenty of great cars, bikes, and people as usual.
That was a good time. Good to see everyone again. The Valley Customs car is SICK! The '32 5 window that showed up around 7 was freakin' amazing. Hell, all the cars were cool. Really. We went to Goodguys first. And aside from the Nationals, I had never seen so many '36 Fords in one place. And yet I had the ONLY one that wasn't Big Wheeled or a 80s/90s Street Rod survivor. God Bless the Cheaters.
Thanks again guys for a great show. Cool cars and entertaining friends (you know who you are). I always have a good time and really appreciate the effort. The Cheaters are top notch at making everyone feel welcome...and gay.
I would like to personally thank everyone who showed up under the early lingering threat of rain and made this show killer! To all of the Illinois clubs who drove up. VooDoo Larry and his Voodoo Kings , the Chrome Czars, Bare Bones ,Atomic Injectors and anyone who I forgot, as this was just off the top of my head ----Much Thanks! All the locals in the Milwaukee area thanks. Where else can you see immaculately restored rancheros and 33 3 windows parked along side the best of what is coming up or homebuilts and be totally cool about it with no Harsh Vibe or pretentiousness I really think a good time was had by all, Nobody died---- so yeah it's cool. If anyone has more pics post em up, the more the better. I mean there was 135 -160 registered cars in a 60 capacity lot so I am damn sure there is more killer pics out there . And for those who think this post wasn't gay enough I will try to add pictures of shirtless fighter pilots playing beach volleyball to a Kenny Loggins soundtrack. Later, Goose ,Maverick and Iceman
Great show as allways guys. Met and hung out with alot of great people, Zenor and Numnuts were funny as shit. If anyone has pics of that 32 5 window that came late please post them. That fricken thing was perfect!
Here is some I took. I think I saw you MP33 but didn't get to talk. Great talkin to Krooser and Mo Par. Also thanks to Carl, I am glad I went. Good time and place.
A merry time was had by all. Huzzah! Thanx to the Cheaters - Rome, Carl, Chris, Jack, Mike, Dan, et al. - for the automotive hijinx, delicious dairy products, and thoughtful reach-arounds.
rode my bike out there, was a dick to a few people on accident cause i was in a fucked up mood and sick, so sorry to anyone i was a jack ass to... and THANKS for the compliments on my lil blue hardtail ironhead... i LOVE her... almost as good as a hot rod, but i gotta wait til spring probly for that to be finished
Holy Moley. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=215169&d=1156107741 It takes balls to do that to a Deuce... and I love balls. Or something like that. I like the car, not the balls is what I mean to say.
That was great time Cheater Boyz. The weather was perfect. I saw a couple of breakdowns on the way home. One poor guy's trans blew out and was waiting for a tow.
This was the first year I have been able to make it up to the Cheaters show and I had a blast. THANKS CHEATERS!!!!
was AWESOME to see ya bobby... nice to be able to show ya the ironhead... im proud of it, and cant WAIT to get this shov done too!@!! wish i had had the trump done (needed oil lines and seat mounting made otherwise CJ wouldve been on it), couldve showed ya that too, NICE lil bike!
We ran outta gas less than two miles from the gas station. It was fun...and its good to know that people will stop and help a stranger.
The show was an awesome time....it was cool to see all of the bikes there, too. Unfortunately, by the time I got there, I had to park my car about a block away. Oh well, the neighbors were amused! Ok, here's some pics......
anyone know who ownes the cool blue T bucket in one of the pictures above. would love to see another closer shot..
Did the guy with the '57 chevy make it home alright on the space saver? (sorry i didn't catch anyones names) I was right behind them and seen him go for a HELL of a ride when the right front blew, luckily kept it out of traffic and shiney side up.
This is the one they (THEM!) refer to as johhnycola or known better by his professional "wrasslin" name----Triple J ,aka Johnny Jean Jacket. Will somebody please post a damn pic of the all original steel 32 ford five window with the Italmecannica supercharger, Edelbrock block letter heads and entire working ww2 airplane gauges including an altimeter!!!! and a speedo run by a pitot tube That car was my favorite among many , but he couldn't get it to the show earlier because he tore down and rebuilt the motor the night before including sleeving a cylinder. Rome
Jerome is right, that car was so rad. I'm so glad Carl made sure I saw it! I didn't have my camera on me though at that point though.
