One year ago today (Dec. 1st.) I fractured my ankle and subsequently, spent Christmas in a cast, on the couch. Pretty much a sucky Christmas last year.
Not this year!!! Got the tree up today and decorated, all the lights up outside...really surprised the wife when she got home:D
Celebrating my accomplishments with a couple Yukon Jacks and a Rocky Patel Toro:D:D:D:D:D.

  4. ..............Stay safe, young man, but stay thirsty as well.:D;)

  5. Some things I remember as a kid at Christmas:
Starting in the summer I would look at the Sears catalog toy section with my uncles on the back porch swing and point out all the toys I wanted but never got.
Dad would start around Thanksgiving setting up the Lionel train garden ....I still have the sets.
My older brother got a Daisy B B gun for Christmas and shot all the Christmas balls off the tree.
Sitting through Church on Christmas morning was agony ...lol.
The most memorable were the Christmas mornings and it had snowed on Christmas Eve.

This years Christmas will be special watching others open their gifts.....I dont need a thing or want anything more than to see joy on the their faces . Our 3 year old Grandson loves trains so I guess I better start setting up a train garden

Showed this to Bonnie...suggesting perhaps this could be a fun Christmas reenactment :D:D:D:D:D:D

It appears that it's NOT going to happen...and I'm an "idiot".:(

    Ron,
That's a very cool Buddy L camper truck you got for Christmas back in '61!

Appreciate you posting some Christmas pics...BUT posting a drawing done by a fellow HAMBer, @Jigger, without giving him credit...well, just ain't right...even though I don't think Mark would mind. Just sayin'

This is the correct section to post these types of posts.
That is what the Antiquated section is for.
