Heat & noise insulation

    What is the best way to keep heat and noise out of my ride? I've got a 53 Bel Air Coupe, I'm dropping in a 350. Have any of you found a good way to insulate your car? Thanks.

  3. I second B-Quiet. Double it on the firewall though. Cheap and effective.

    I used fatmat and would highly recommend it.

    Do a search of the HAMB - there are several long threads about insulating cars.

    I sprayed on Lizard Skin, used the ceramic insulation first, then sprayed the sound deadner over that. Looks pretty sweet to me, like the truck bedliner material. Works extremely well. You can see it in the pics of my truck somewhere on here... I think the guy's site is lizardskin.com
