    Hi All,
Finally decided to join up after lurking way too long. Guess what got me to do it was meeting a couple of hard-core rodders recently. Went to the Big Bear Fun Run last weekend and ran into a couple of rodders from Sweden. They are travelling across country checking out all the car stuff. They are driving a Volvo roadster, of all things! Wish I had a picture to show, it was unique. They are spending a couple of weeks in L.A. checking things out. Asked if they were on the HAMB but they did not know about it, so I gave them the website address. If anybody here in SoCal runs into these dudes at a car show, wander up and say howdy, you'll be glad you did.

    I'm in the South Bay.

Got some pix, am working on how to post pix to the forum, will let you know when I do. My cars are probably too new to be of real interest to this group. A '58 Morris Minor, a '70 Nova, a '71 Norton motorcycle. Still have the first new car I ever bought, will get pix of it up soon. My favorite is the Norton - in fact my first choice of a screen name would have been Snortin' Norton, but somebody already has it :-(

Thanks kornbinder. Went to high school in NorCal.
Wasted lots of time cruisin' J and K streets in downtown Sacramento. Guess what my favorite movie is? American Graffiti. Many of those scenes are very, very real to me. Then my parents moved to Petaluma, and a lot of the movie was actually shot in and around Petaluma.
