    He hasn't been on the HAMB for the past 6 months so maybe he's busy finishing it.

    You know I just haven't been on here for a long time and I just seen your post...
    Actually the last pic I posted was the finished machine...
    I have probably drove this Stude several thousand miles...
    You were asking about overheating I have never had a problem.... Course I live in Ohio...
    Never drove in Arizonia weather...

    The only problems I ever had were with a couple of the original disc style freeze plugs...they blew out on 2 different days when it was good and hot... I replaced those 2 with the T-bar type...
    Now my engine stays cool on the road but warms up some in town @ stop lights... never overheats...

    I work in a engine machine shop and test run a lot of engines.... And one of the biggest misunderstood
    thing guys think is Timing... street cars NEED a vacuum advance... your engine will run COOLER...
    More timing is cooler... less timing is more heat... It may not help you enough to over come a 120 degree day... but it helps them idle and at cruise speeds...
