Al Unser Sr. 4 time Indy 500 winner p***ed away Thursday at age 82. A real racer's racer.

If you are ever in Albuquerque stop at the Unser Museum. It's quite a tribute to a great racing family.

R.I.P. Nice guy! Dad knew him and raced against him way back in the day. Really thought a lot of him.

 

When I was 12 or 13, I saw a snippet on Wide World of Sports of him winning at Pikes Peak. Always on the ragged edge.
