Hot Rods Crime Wave 1954 Movie

Anyone recognize this cool little roadster used in the movie?
Not sure what the 4 door convert is '40 ?
Also had a '36 Ford Woodie.

Charles Bronson was in this one.

 

4 door phaeton is a 1940 Mercury.

 

Based on the title of the movie, I would guess that roadster had its hood, fenders, running boards, and bumpers stolen. That ain't a hot rod, it's a result of theft recovery.
