Thanks! I think i even like it better than the 53 olds wheel i was after. Might try my hand at resin casting my own button for it

 

I think it suits the build as the road less traveled... you probably won't see that combination anywhere else.

 

Well...heres the grill im going to run on my 33! 1939 dodge

 

In my mind there are better grilles for your ‘33……

 

The shell will have to get some metal added, will be roundish when im done, this kind of idea but my own flavor, certainly not just gonna bolt it on as is, thatd look dumb

Nice!! Can i see a pic of your tail lights?? Mines gonna be fairly mild in its first form, i think a lasalle and a rebuild on the 303 will come down the road

Im going to try to fix my old grill shell and may still use it

Good luck with your car,you have a lot of work ahead.My 33 was made into a hot rod in early 70's but never finished & sat in garage for 30 years.Just needed glass,wireing & paint.I replaced the lowere rear panel with the gas filler.

 

Looks badass!! Kind of selling me on rear fenders tbh. Bobbed though

Starting to tack things together, no judging! Just temporary so i can find body mount holes, take measurements cut and bend new pieces to replace big sections

 

Little progress tonight, patch panel made from a 27 chevy scrap.

 

Its not perfect but im happy with the results! Stiffened the body up a ton too
