Jigger, it looks like your die was cast at the moment of conception. The 'Terry and the Pirates' panel brings back memories of the Sunday funnies when I was a kid.

    Hello,

Nice old drawing. My eyes are old and sometimes plays tricks on what I see. (After reading a long time, intense drawing and editing, when I go outside to see the lights, they all look like circles, ala Christmas balls, lit up... HA!) But, this drawing needed some clarity. If not for the overall artwork, but for my sight.

  10. Great to have ya back dude! Wow, great stuff!

@57 Corvette ~ Bob , I was still a twinkle in my mother's eye... cool art!

@Spoggie Steve, that "Down Under King Ranch" is stunning!
    (Fixed! D'OH!)

@Stogy you are too kind, I appreciate your sentiment and am privileged to share my work. The HAMB remains
The primary place for pasting stuff to...

Wow, 'Vettes... Hope they get to stay on here in the spirit of good cheer and all that.

    A 'Glass attack'!!!

Thanks. Reminiscent, maybe, but Dallison is infinitely more talented.

Your wash work is as good as anyone.
I have a steady hand. Pretty much every drawing I present here is drawn in the field. It gets the drawing pretty tight, doing this. I'd give a nut for those wash skills you have, to compliment my line chops.

Merry Christmas to all. Abide all in the spirit of Christmas, with blessings..

  18. Anybody remember Basil Wolverton or Norman Saunders?
These guys created a lot of art for the early pulp magazines, horror and science fiction and under ground comics of the 50s and 60s. These are the guys that Ed Roth said inspired him to create Rat Fink and his Monster hot rods. Norman Saunders work was featured in a bubblegum set by Topps in 1967 called Nutty Initials. Some of you guys might remember these as a kid. I really thought they were cool.
Happy Hot Rod days folks !

  20. (Sorry about the typo earlier Steve ... a certain watchdog called me out... keyboards, early mornings and cold medicine are not good play pals.)
I was going to make a Chrysler 'RAM' reference for your high end Imperial ute but the Ford moniker seems to be more fitting. LOL!

No apologies required, I've done the same and even added condolences belated...

Spoggie I had a 2nd question about the Painting behind the Custom with the Horse or Donkey...what is the relation to the Custom?

    Here's my guess...Nice Ass...:p
