Beautiful day in Connecticut. Rolled the roadster outside after almost 6 years of building. Set the timing and ran it up and down the drive a couple of times. Awesome feeling.
Congratulations! That's a very nice, clean roadster. The first time you get in it and drive is an awesome feeling! I know it well. My '27 when I first bought it......... After 7 years of building, this is the day I got it running and drove up and down the street............. As it sits today....I drive it everywhere!
Milestones, Smilestones...a good day indeed...congratulations to you...the road is ever so close now...
A stock air cleaner would give you the thought of just removing the engine from a total at a wrecking yard when near new…
Great looking roadster! My guess is the body is something other than a Ford, but I have no idea if that's the case or what it might be. Steel, or 'Gl***? Enjoy the ride. Lynn
That belt line moulding showing on the cowl says '28 Chevy to me, but I could be wrong. The doors and back of the body have me wondering though, could those be scratch built?
Thanks for the kind words Lake Harley. The body is all steel. The cowl is '28 Chevy. The rear portion of the body is back half of '35 Ford pickup cab. It was cut at the belt line and narrowed. I extended the cab corners to meet the doors which I fabricated. Jim
Man that’s *****in! Congrats! looking back threw there’s a lot of little sneaky details. Very clean man. Dig the blinkers that basically vanish. what is the rear suspension set up?
