I just picked this up Saturday, after stressing all night over the deal it finally went through. It has strait pipes just for the neigbors at 7am Sunday morning! I will post a few more pics later. After driving new cars for 7 years straight, it feels good to get some exhuast in the lungs.
It has a Chevy 305 with a TH350 - 57 Chevy rearend. Brand new wide whites wih Packard caps. Interior is white tuck & roll, but needs to be finished. The dash is blue flake with pinstripes. I had to cover the skull w/ devil horns shifter with a rag while it was parked at bible study Sunday...
lol ..nice score..I know what you're talking about with the shifter.my dad is the pastor of a church.I use to have a car with suckin' gas haulin' ass painted on the back of it.he use to get mad at me for having it sitting in the driveway because church members would come by the house to see him.after a while I Krylon'ed it for him so they wouldn't see it...your chevy is slick. I think you did alright.
The first item is the rear lowering blocks, it sits LOW (the pics do not really show). It slamms when driving over dips. I heard of "helper bags" what exactly are they for? Also, there is a coffin and webs stripped on the trunk, but nobody Sunday seemed to notice
I know they have blocks, they are billet and about 1/2 as big as a shoebox. It may be a bit much as I dont like to drive with a rubber mouth piece.
Love the car! You might try some heavier duty shocks. I've always run heavy duty gas shocks in my lowered cars and it helps a bunch!
By "mouth guard" I mean some way of keeping my teeth from chattering while passing over a dip in the road
I love the Chevy. Interesting comments about the shift knob and bible study, and the pastor-dad who didn't appreciate the deck lid lettering. The pastor at my church wouldn't mind it at all. Oh, wait, that would be me!
Cool car, nothing beats smelling like exhaust fumes at church..post some more pics when you get a chance.
Man the ride looks kewl BUT when Shyrodder got done with it was badass. As far as the Church thing goes... its good you live your life for you. I found a little country church i love, my first day there i pulled up on my Harley, full leathers, club vest and some really interesting stickers all over my helmet and was meet by a congrigation that embrassed me not matter what i was wearing, riding or how many tats or how long my hair was. Later and enjoy the 54
