OK, so I'm in the process of Z'ing the frame in my shop truck and I need some help with this right angle Trigonometry to cut the new rails correctly. This isn't a hard problem to someone who knows the laws of sines and cosines (Sin=opposite/hypotenuse, Cos=adjacent/hypotenuse, Tan= opposite/adjacent), but I can't find my graphing calculator and I forget how to set the problem up anyhow. Any help finding angle X and angle Y would be greatly appreciated.

The sine angle is nice to know, but don't get too worked-up at keeping 2 decimal places of accuracy. Remember, you are using a filler metal when welding, so fill ;)

Cut both pieces 22.5 degree's and they'll always fit right, if your using something like 2X3 square tube, or the like, at least for a 45 degree joint. I funked the hell outa Trig in HS. Wish I'd have paid more attention now.....
