More lower firewall work done , and finished another interior panel. Will soon be yanking cab off and finish painting.

Looking good one color, I like your masking paper. Looks like you used plenty of lubricant, we use to use a lot of end rolls of rapping paper and news paper. There was a commercial print shop about a block away from the shop and they had a lot of s****s.

Drove to Keller’s in Dallas Texas yesterday, for New Year’s Day , got to hang with Dirty2 & KoolGeorge .

 

Turned out great! Also, I see Danny put the fenders back on again.

 

Looked great yesterday, glad I got to check it out!

 

It has the F-1 pedals in it , that I got from you at pate swap meet a couple years back.

Peck, I love this build post but I have a question, I like how you cut down your pedals and I am thinking about doing the same thing although, do your heals hit the pedal arm when you work the pedals?

The swap meet ujoints I bought have never made me happy, and they had plenty of play in them, they got replaced today with Sweet manufacturing ujoints. It took the slop out. Will get pics when I dis***emble for painting, I hope to paint steering wheel soon also. Atleast I finally clocked it right.

 

I also painted the dash rail maroon, it was silver, stuck out like a sore thumb.

 

Started painting steering wheel, column , and column drop.

 

Took the RPU to the West Texas Roundup in Lubbock Texas at Cook’s Garage.

 

Today I order ceramic beads to balance the tires , I mounted tires myself and never got around to having them balanced. Really not that bad , but could be better.

 

Did you go to the open house at Sachse Rod Shop? Lots of nice cars sorry no pic my phone died.

 

I put 4 ounces in rear and 3 in front. Seems to have had made a difference.

 

So I’ve known for a year now , that front axle was not set at correct degree. It drives squirrelly *** crazy, so today I yanked apart and gonna pie cut 5-7 degrees in it and weld back together.
