I'm looking to bag my newly aquired 62 Impala, and have noticed the ads in rod & custom and other rags for Air Ride Pro ( http://www.airridepro.com/ ). But the ads look suspiciously like the ads AIM used to run in the low rider mags. And the products look kinda generic. Are they the same company just renamed b/c of the bad rep?

the ride pro e is absolute garbage
i bagged a 07 super duty dually and you cant regulate pressure that well
one side would "spike" while driving u look one bag has 65psi and the other front has 105 i just think its garbage
when i called airride tech they said "thats the nature of the beast" then he told me to find one better and i did from aim
i plan to use the aim on my c10

Yup they are the same company. Don't buy from AIM or their new sneeky look -n-feel outfit.

Buy from http://www.suicidedoors.com (I buy all my air parts from them) They have the best prices and the BEST parts - period! Their customer service is amazing!

Do not skimp on your air ride parts, remember these parts are keeping you and your ride off the pavement. Cheep parts can cause an unwanted action if they break (and they will)...buy quaility, skimp on beer not air ride...

    Hope this helps.

  4. chopt49 has the right idea.. some of these big air suspension companies inflate the price of a basic air ride kit like no tomorrow. Suicide Doors is run by Mini Truckers and they usually are the ones to talk to about air-ride.. i second that site.

AIM = Absolute trash... I don't know if there is a company in the automotive industry with more complaints against it at the B.B.B.

I've always used Air Ride Technologies and have never had an issue with them.

Just like other sites, you usually get what you pay for...the guy at suicide doors will put together a package for ya depending on what your trying to do..super knowledgable, and top notch products. How much is that 20 bucks worth you saved, broken down on the freeway at 1am at night...

AIM, is absolute garbage, do not use anything they sell, they just make cheap knockoffs of QUALITY products that other companies take time to "try" and perfect, you cant go wrong with suicidedoors, they are the leaders right now i would say in sales and have not heard many complaints at all about them!!!
