Theres a company here in San Jose that foundries finned heads $2500 and intakes the quality is good as far as I've heard. The guy in texas seemed like a used trailer salesman to me. I called once he said I had to send him money right away to get in on their next production run-I didnt then I called back a year later and he again was very high pressure sales wanting money upfront ect. Seemed like a scam? I kept my money! Had these heads made instead. LTR Dave
The original Charlie Ryan version of hot rod lincoln states... 'Got 12 cylinders and use them all' All the later versions I've found say '8 cylinders' and I've found almost 30 different versions of that song! I beleiveCharlie's original car was a V12 Lincoln with the body removed, ch***is shortened and an A model coupe body installed. It's still around I believe. (I know that, and I'm a heavy metal lovin' ****** Aussie!) Cheers, Glen.
Dave Tatom in Mt. Vernon, WA built one for a customer a few years ago. Finned heads and 3-carb manifold; looked great. He might be able to ***ist in finding equipment.
Hey Studhud who made your heads? Can I get a contact number for the maker? Any help you be greatly appreciated.
Dude in Texas (Empire) , BAD rep , big hurry /send money/ going to miss out on casting run/3 calls a day from him for 2 or 3 days after I said I'll call you when I decide . Austinrodshop.com , great prices yeah but, owner personally told me on the phone a few months back he had never made a V12 manifold , ones pictured on his website are made out of wood , said send money for a couple and I'll start getting serious about making one . Just my personal experiences . P.S. High volume Ford pump did WONDERS for mine .
If you are talking about Rod's blue A PU the whole thing was built by Rod's shop "Castlemaine Rod Shop" in Victoria Australia. I saw it a couple times before he shipped it to the US with a couple other hot rods. A 1919 T coupe with Twin blown Boss 429 and a '55 Chev with a Rolls Royce Merlin V12. -:edit:- construction shots. http://www.rodshop.com.au/projectratrod2.htm

Jim,. Here is a pic I posted last year of Garth Hogan's Lincoln with heads his Dad used to make in NZ back in the 60s. He resurrected the patterns and yes he will make them to sell. You can contact him at Pioneer Aircraft Restoration, Ardmore NZ. http://www.pioneeraero.co.nz/ Garth has a history of achievement in hot rodding and drag racing here.
Jim Sibley Are you by any chance Jim Sibley from Washington state that is well known in the Vw's. Please check my website at Frenchysrides.com Thanks Frenchy
I have a couple of flathead V12's I'd like to sell to you guys and I bought some Model A frames from you Frenchy a couple years ago. Small world.
Check out H&H Flatheads in La Crescenta - Montrose, SoCal. They can provide Lincoln 1936-48 V-12 rebuild and accessories like heads, multiple intake manifolds and even a supercharger set up. Well known in hot rodding circles and owner Mike Herman has a very good reputation for straight dealing.
