This is coming from the guy who's theory on potholes is "If you go fast enough you'll skip right over the holes." Love ya Petey. I know it's faster and less tolls to go through the city though. I may consider it since I am going in real early. MIKE.

HAHAHA, should have seen that one coming, walked right into that one, unfortunately, we haven't gotten to that point, not trying to pay somebody to take her off my hands YET, we're still having fun and enjoying each other too much

and lets be honest man, I wouldn't be too worried with my girl around you, I mean I'd be more worried with me bending over giving you a hand working on the car. HAHA and in her words, she's already got one big kid thats a handful, she doesn't want another yet

I went last year and it was free to get into the car show. Last week I got the flyer at asbury lanes show and it says $20.00 thats pretty steep for me and my girl I'll have no beer money left.

To see the bands it is 20 bucks. Car show is free as well as getting in to the bar area, then there is the alcohol.. :)

Good man. At least I won't be the only soaked mf'r there. I'll bring my dive mask and snorkel for the drive. My face is about 5" over the windshield. Should be a lot of fun!!

  15. it's f'n ****ty. if it clears up for just a little i'll be on my way...

mike47 - i hope you brought your diving mask.

  16. Mother -****er!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no luck

it finally cleared up so i went out to get going... my overhead door jumped the track and my car is now trapped in the shop. It's a giant industrial rollup so i can't budge it myself. I'm waiting on one of my friends to help me get it back on the track but looks like I'm going to be stuck...

Enjoy the show guys.. please post some pics when you get back..

hahaha just got home too, and got the funniest, LONGEST STORY EEVVEER on how long it took us to get there for even a little while, but me and the girl had a good time, enjoyed the beer, a couple good talks, and the photo booth, HAHA she's been bugging me for a cute pic for a while

Looked good when we left. About 1/2 way across Staten Island the rain started. I forgot the diving mask. I slumped down into the pit as much as possisle. Stayed pretty dry but couldn't see a thing. Got stuck in a bit of traffic after the Verrazano Bridge. Then I got soaked. Ran through a huge puddle at about 35 mph that just came right through where the floor should be. I probably should have stayed home. NOT. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. It ****s that I had to leave early. Met Roadrat Eddie there. He and his club are a great bunch of guys. It was a fantasic show. Even with the **** weather the lot was full. I'm glad you all came out. Can't wait for the pics. to come up to see what I missed by leaving early. Oh yeah, got wet on the way home too. After the deck lid almost came off on the Staten Island Expressway! Seems the bolts decided they liked Brooklyn and wanted to stay. A quick zip tie pit stop and we were back on the road. Man, I love zipties!! MIKE.
