Features Corvette hot rods - picture thread

I don’t remember that one but I will ask the Edgewater veterans. I do remember his Camaro that he raced for a while.

 

Anyone remember this car? Different stance, reminds me of the High and Mighty Plymouth the first Ramchargers built.

 

Here is a 61 at Edgewater called the Stinger, maybe a later edition? I’m not sure who ran this car, looks like the mid to late 70s. I’ll keep looking for the early AB Stinger, you have me intrigued to find out now.

 

65pacecare that car ran a lot at Dover and Connecticut dragstrip in the M/SP cl***. I don't recall his name.

Thanks, I just found some history on it. The Stinger was owned by Ken Kist out of Cleves Ohio (same location as Edgewater). A couple more pics. Not an Apricot Brandy car.

Some great racecars 65 Pacecar and many with successful stories. By the way here is a pic of Apricot Brandy at Indy in 68 when it was called "The Stinger". Still would like to find a nice clear picture.
