Put some Gibb’s Oil on stuff like the bare metal spots on the floor. They are too nice to paint...the Gibb’s oil will offer some protection. It really isn’t oil...great stuff, I love it!

Need some help from early Ford numbers gurus.
The number stamped on the ch***is rail is on the Ca. registration from the ‘60’s through 2015, when he sold it to a guy in Canada. Then it sold to a guy in NH with the same number. He then changed it to a number starting with an 18, which I think designates V8, right?
    Does DRF designate a 4 cylinder? It’s a ‘33 Standard.

Matt Deiulis in NH, restored the seat using the original upholstery, and removed 2” from the back and bottom cushions. 62950D6A-80B8-4E3C-AE8F-0ACB4B1068B0.jpeg E4A50E09-9E17-4D48-A428-D3A8FBCB9869.jpeg

Looks awesome @alfin32, the fact you were able to repurpose the Original even better...you have a way with these blasts from the pasts...;)

Also scored a mint F100 box from my friend, Tom Hardy.
    Thanks, Tom!

Man heck of a score! I am glad you are just getting it roadworthy and mechanically sound! Don’t do a full restoration on this. It deserves to be left like it is ! You seriously need to buy lottery tickets. I love how it is lowered but not chopped !

Haha oh man the count of people watching this thread just got cut in half when that flathead came out.
Reality is a 33 or 34 with full interior and fenders etc is just too heavy for a stock flathead (even an 8ba) to be any fun. That smallblock will wake it right up
