Technical 31 rearend to v8-60 rearend

The 31 rearend I have has the 6 bolt clam bolt up on the torque tube but my v8 60 transmission 1938 model has the 4 bolt to attach , what’s the best way to attach , will the later model 4 bolt clam work on the 31 rearend or while shortening the torque tube can I put the one mated to the transmission on the torque tube , looking for the best way to do it ?

 

the later clam will fit the A torque tube
