So I picked up the back half of a 29 model A Ford coupe. Can anyone give me the with and length from tail to doors? Length is not so important as width, I'm wondering if I can put it in my truck bed (2015 Chevy ) or if I need to drag my trailer along.
That should fit in the bed of your truck without a problem. You might have to turn it around to fit between the wheel wells.
Jeff, less than 4'6" wide at the B Pillar and about 6'8" long. These measurements are just quick and not millimeter perfect but darn close.
You dont tell us much about the truck, is it one of those girl trucks with a long cab and a trunk with no top for a box, or a man's truck with an 8' box
Yep it's a Z71 4 door with a 5 foot box, a real man's truck, I can bang the old lady in the back seat if I want to.
That's what I was guessing, I'm thinking I'll just hope for the best and if I need to rent a u haul trailer I will.
Not to get into a ******* match here but several times in '84, I had to take my OT 10 year old 4 x 2, 454 powered,4 speed, 4.10 geared and **** Cepek 31.5 Monster Mudders out into the snow covered woods west of Port Huron, MI to rescue brand new '84 Chevy 4 x 4's belonging to people who thought they could go anywhere just because they had a 4 wheel drive " Man's truck ". In my opinion, having 4 wheel drive in your vehicle just means it takes more cable for the wrecker to get you out of the ditch.
When the weather is bad, I can be found in my nest next to the wood stove. The truck hibernates in winter too until I move away from the frozen salt encrusted swap
When I picked up my compleat 31 Ford Roadster body about 31 years ago , used a lowered 1989 b2200 Mazda truck
it will easily fit in the back of a modern pickup box. I've dragged sedan, coupe, roadster, CCPU bodies in the back of my old silverado many times.
