Well, didn't make it out to GNRS, but I did make it out to the swap meet. Lot's of non-HAMB friendly stuff there, but I found a few worthy of some photos.
Nice shots as always. First Banger I ever saw with TRIPS don't see any linkage to the outers wonder if they are functional?
I shot a couple, but not really post worthy, not much interesting, though there were some good parts, i.e. Edelbrock intake for a flatty V8, 35-36 split wishbones, 39 Ford steering box & shaft, but not for any project I have going, and not priced right. Maybe I should've made an offer. I looked for old ignition parts Mark, didn't see any. I was hoping to find some wheels for either 1 of my cars, I struck out there. I did pick up an old Chilton's manual from the 54 - 64 model years, for 5 bucks. I couldn't pass that up.
I have lived across the street from vets stadium for 45 years just recently moved to Temecula. Seeing these pics I realize how spoiled I was between the Long Beach model t meets the motorcycle swap meets and antique meets. The hi performance meet as they call it has turned into later model stuff and the early Ford parts have disappeared. I sold last year and was worried If I was going to recoup my 55 for a swap space. I had a lot of early Ford and early Chevy accessories. In the first hour I was near sold out with about 1500 in pocket. So turned out to be a great day. Love that place
