That Impala and Cole's LaSalle are stunners, and Arias' beast is about the most badass El Camino I've seen. Great coverage Joey.

Astronautsa.jpg 66 killer elcamino.jpg Killer pics, thanks for sharing. I really love the results on the Cusey roadster, but, then again, I've been in love with that car when my father showed me his Astronauts album.

BUT, that 66 elcamino has my name all over it! I'd probably make fast friends with the owner if I met him.

    thanks again for great pics

I love that album cover. I have another "Astronauts" album with those two cars in a different position.

That El Camino is owned by Justin Arias, grandson of Nick Arias. He built an engine for it with Arias hemi heads.

As was said @J.Ukrop...thanks for bringing the warmth and Showstoppers up to the land of cold, cold, ice and snow...

Truly an incredible event and one helluva trophy that harbors a pile of historical ions of the culture we revere...high fives to the Hamb contingent participating whether its outside or inside...

  25. You should have caught up with me at the Hotrod-a-rama Northwest booth in the Suede palace. I was there all weekend.

Fitting synopsis of a truly remarkable happening within our automotive industry. You have quite a way with words in descriptively portraying the Pomona experience. To all the builders, owners, vendors, and every person who helped pull it off, including producer John Buck, this past January...job well done, it was truly an inspiration for us past, present and future rod 'n custom fanatics.
