Here's my original steel roadster. 268 CI flathead, Lincoln Zephyr gears in 39 transmission, Columbia overdrive. I started with a channeled mess in 1969 and back on the road in December of 2017. Glenn
The Hiboy in this post and a different full fendered roadster from stan's barn are now in my garage for about 4 months now. I did not get them from stan's family. I never meet or even had phone conversation with the man I got them from. My son took care of all of it for me. I have not even told any of my friend's that I have them yet , only a couple hammer's by PM. I guess Stan p***ed away last fall, I did know him except from his posts on the HAMB. RIP Stan. I hope to have them done enough for the Hot Rod Dirt Drags So my wife, son and his son can race them. Its only about 7 weeks away.
John, In the second picture there is or appears to be a US Army dress uniform jacket and it seems to have a Spec. 4 patch on the sleeve. Is that your old uniform ? If so, I'm curious about when and where you served ? Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I'm Still pissed at myself for selling the 5W. My plan was to not buy any more cars, But I just can't stand to not have 32 around. Lila told me to quit my whining and just go get one. Both roadsters are wescott's on original ch***is' one was built 40 years ago and the other one 20 years ago. I'm not going to change them alot, But I have said that before to. Come on over to Monte Visa the first of June you would enjoy it.
Have a post way earlier up, it’s in front of “ The Worlds Famous Cook’s Machine Works” This time with 5 spokes or Steelies.
