  4. Great stuff, guys!

LowCab, it's good to see ya here! Man, those are some cool pieces you posted...I especially dig the last one with the magazine print background.

I got nothin. I needta develop some film...unfortunately it's just tattoo pics, though. Very little striping these days. I did, however stripe some bikes at some chopper shop in Austin. No pics, though.

Cool stuff as always. Tingler the Chev looks real good, nice to see you mix up the style. Have not done much regular type art latley it's the busy season for tattooing, so here's a few from the day job.

This is my first time posting on the Art Show. I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly, so if the image comes out poorly, I'll try to figure out how to send photos. This is a 18X 12 panel I did.

Here's one I did for my Dad. Chrisman Coupe. Was based on a small B/W
picture (about an inch and a half size) from one of my old HOT ROD magazines.
    18X24. Hope you like it.

Barnett glad you like that one. Been trying some new directions lately with my
paintings. I started another one using that same idea. That one so far is not
working out so well. Does not have the ***** yet. Still working on it.

Finally got around to buying myself some markers; obviously I've got a long ways to go, but I'm liking it, it's promising.

I thought this was a pretty cool Model A sedan turned into a pickup. I had to put my own spin on it. Now I really want one! I'm planning on doing several different versions, but not 'till next Friday.

Spaulding I love messin with that kind of stuff too. I tried my own take on your original pic. I hope you don't mind.
I'm a ****er for purple, and slicks.
It's pretty sloppy in places but I kind of threw it together. I look forward to your other versions.

I'm no artist. I really love the work you guys are doing.

I need to break out the easel and paint later this year though, my skills have gotten soft. This is a quick sketch I did last year for a prelimenary tattoo design. I did some later versions with more detail and such but I kinda liked the simplicity. Plus it's the only one I've got scanned. heh.

  29. Here is a couple of things I did this week.Mostly production work(a 32 Chevy roadster,a 36 Chevy cabriolet,an 80's Monte Carlo and a Cadillac lowrider)but these:
My son came out from M***achusetts for Woodward and the NASCAR race at MIS so I added some more stuff to his Ranger pickup.
The second piece is a work in progress:another handcarved cartoon car cast in resin by Greg DePauw of Metamora Illinois.Greg is a quadriplegic and runs the Art Rod Festival(Sept. 10th in Metamora)and has a kick*** 37 Ford bustleback set up for hand controls and a wheelchair.

I'm new to all this, so let me know what you think. Here are some recent paintings. For the history on the first car (which is really cool) go to www.sinisterhotrods.com
All paintings are Oil on canvas.
