Can anyone tell me if this Roadster is a real car or just a picture. I want to make a clone.. Need more pictures.
That car was owned at one time by Tex Smith. He did a write up on it in the September/October 1989 issue of Hot Rod Mechanix. At the time of its feature in Hot Rod, it was owned by George Schrieber.
That's a nice Deuce Highboy...wouldn't change a thing...and hey!!...maybe Hotrodders DO get the Ladies too... So!! Hay Julie...will it be 1 horsepower or 300...
That picture was in color in Hot Rod magazine, had one cut out and framed hanging on my wall when I was a kid.
Love this help.. It's so valuable to have friends in US to get information about old Hotrods. I need to buy som old Magazine about this car.. Can you pls tell me more..

When our car club was formed , early 60’s a crest was needed for the club jackets and this hot rod was chosen to use as the crest . The lion , ???, a “majestic” beast . The name , from a popular song at the time by Dion .......
Jimmy, you might be able to get some history from the LA Roadsters, pretty sure they have some pics of old members cars.
