I have changed rear axle on my 48 Ford to open driveshaft. Does anyone make a bracket to hitch rear wishbones to frame. I did find one for from. Putting a C-4 in the Ford. Thanks

You have removed the torque tube. That does the lion's share of the work locating and taking all the stress forces the rear is subjected to. The wishbones are axle tube braces.

More will need to be done than simply re mounting the bones. It has been covered a lot, so invest some time in a search here.

  4. What rear axle did you switch to?. If you went to anything but a banjo, a lot of people go with the parallel leaf kit.

I'm thinking you may need more than a bracket , you need a set of semi eleptic rear springs , no way will your radius rods work in this application

@striper and I had this discussion about the way he used 48 front wishbones on the rear of his modified roadster. Pictures speak louder than words so here you go. Pics courtesy of @striper.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
