Now I Can Die And Go To Hotrod Heaven!!!

The new Car Kulture Deluxe just came in the mail,and the article about my sons car is in it! I'm so STOAKED!!!It might not seem like much to some of you guys,but i'm just a guy who took Auto Shop in High School,with dreams. It mentions Todd Zimmerman(fordole500)which is cool,cause I don't want people to think I built it. I've bought car mags all my life. Never thought I would be in one. Can't stop smiling,I don't care!!!

The article has a few misquotes. When I was 7,at a car show,Ed Roth gave me that plastic German helmut. But he wasn't selling "memoribilia". In '67 it wasn't memoribilia,it was new. Thought that was funny. I did love my first car,'67 Bug,but I would have rather had the '32 3window.My dad wouldn't let spend $4500. for a car that didn't run. It just needed a motor. It was kinda started to be a Hotrod,'70s style. I've always liked 50's style.

Yea,I bought it to see the Paso coverage,and saw the car. That's "sandimasguys" shoebox next to my sons. The guy from Car Crazy,was filming them too,but I didn't get to talk to him.

Was reading through the magazine at work today,and there's a guy looking for a '50 Merc to rent for his wedding. Could this be the next BIG thing? Renting out your ride,so some guy can look "COOL" at whatever event. You know there's guys who go to Daytona Bike Week and Sturgis and rent bikes to be a "BIKER" for a weekend! You can get a fake ponytail,fake tattos,fake GLUE-ON goatees. Thats it! I'll go to shows and sell fake tattos,used,cuffed Levis,Dirty old boots,palmade,Camel no-filters,old t-shirts,and Ratrod rentals! The sign can say BE A WEEKEND GREASER,we got it all. I'm gonna be rich!!!(now interviewing for investers). I know a certain guy who lives here in Yorba Linda,who's a closet computer geek. He'll be the first to call,I bet!

 

Is the new mag on the shelves yet? My son wants one and I can't find one. I guess the subscribers get them first.
