When I worked at an auto parts store, we used to sell fuel filler neck hose in different diameters - you could specify the length and we'd cut it for you.

You could go to a fuel oil company that delivers to homes, that hose they use is the right size, and has more flex. We used it on the 49 chevy we have. The place we went had a few thousand feet laying around just waiting to be pitched.

If it's straight got to the parts store, if it has shape and is specific to your car, call Steele rubber.

Napa has the straight hose...as well as sections of hose with either a 45 degree or 90 degree bend in the middle

I tried the local auto parts store, but they wouldn't cut it by the foot for me, they wanted me to buy the whole roll. I told them to eat it, then I went to some random marine place that works on boats and marine engines. They sell it for a buck or two a foot. And, its heavy duty. They have all kinds of different diameters.

NAPA does have it, but make sure you get the kind that is for modern fuels. They still had some that was only good for non-oxygenated fuels when I bought mine, only good for diesels nowadays. It is about $6/ft as I recall.

  9. Yes, NAPA does have straight sections. Just tell them how long (per foot), and what inside diameter you need, and they'll cut it for you. (if they don't let me know, and I'll make sure they do!)

I use Carlisle hose It comes in a bunch of sizes. You can tie it in a knot and still put fuel thru it. :) A good boat supply or online.

To go from the filler neck to the tank... I used a piece of radiator hose for 8 or 10 years... I was originally concerned about fuel eating at it, but never had a problem.

Green Stripe is the name of it, believe its made by Gates, comes in only a couple of sizes and sold by the foot around 6 bucks a foot. We used to use it for intake manifolds on various motorcycles. Fuel will not attack it,your taking a chance with regular hose, sooner or later!!
