Internet snooping and came across this car. I know what it is but hesitate to name it. It's certainly not a traditional American hot rod but looking at the lines got me to thinking about building something similar. Perhaps a chopped 27 T closed cab pushed back on a Model A or T frame?
Or has someone done a car like this?[IMG]

If your going to recreate something like this I would slightly chop the top snd just a scootch lower on the suspension .
    Damn cool looking ride .
    Thanks for sharing .

with it being a Bugatti, my left and right nut , and my home and cars might buy the oil cap off the engine :D

The later ones, with flowing lines, sure look a lot better than this one!

I like the era/idea. Curious, what would you do for wheels and tires?

Built out of ford parts I think it would land closer
To a modified with a roof? If I was trying to name it/ put it in a box?

also think I would use the back of a model A or T four door. To fashion the cab

I’m thinkin’ Dean Moon might have seen a photo of one or these. The American Austin was made here in American at the same time….any coincidence?

I like it, looks a lot like what Posie (Ken Fenical) builds.

  22. Fabricate a custom track nose, then just clone from there back. Why mess with perfection?

Reminds me a little of a Minneapolis Moline UDLX tractor from the 1930's.

Not all that much different than a lot of modified builds or a bobber pickup.

An odd bunch of components that don't complement each other. Looks more like a 1920s version of a rat rod.

  28. Historically, people have taken cues from sports cars. I mean, back in the day, this thing may have graced the pages of a motoring magazine and gave some of the earliest hot rodders inspiration.

I dunno. Just talking out my ass.

It's kinda cool in a "Whacky Races" sort of way. Where's Snidely Whiplash when you need him? :p
