Hot Rods Looking for this 41 ford pickup

Im trying to track down my grandpas old 41 ford pickup, has a 327 with a 4spd, last time it was seen was when he sold it in san jose

 

You probably ought to tell us when he sold it. If you could tell his name it might help too.

 

His name was Mike Desando and he sold it to his buddy Al Simmons, AL kept the car for a long time before selling it cant recall when he sold it, somewhere in 1990s is when my grandpa sold it to him

 

This is the pic I had found, can't remember where I saved it..

 

I know that truck! I bought it in San Jose Ca from Al Simmons around 2014. It had been sitting for years, the 327 / 4spd had been replaced with a 350/350 combo. The flames had been painted over, but the louvered hood was still in place. I did a bunch of work to it, but sold it ( regrettably) to a guy in Alamo Ca. in 2018.
