It was pretty disappointing to hear the Madison Cl***ics dropped their Elkhorn event.
This could be the start of a beautiful relationship ;)

    Total disappointment indeed,
The President of our MARQUIS car club Dave Bjorge, along with Robert Yonkee
from Traffic Jambs Speed Shop got together to get it rolling to replace it, and it is now "Steamrolling"
We are looking to make it an annual event.
All proceeds will to to three Charity's
And the entry fee is totally low, so all can afford as well as attend..

The cost of spectator entry, and the cost of indoor & out door swap spaces and sizes on the information poster would be helpful.
The "call for info" makes it sound like a fishing expedition. "What are you selling? Then the price for you is...."

Is a “spectator” the same as a “Participant”? I did not see a “show car” entry category. Is a printable entry form available?
    Thank You!

    UPDATE:
Madison Cl***ics has posted on their home page explaining why they are not hosting this car show this year.
I have NO problem with their announcement, with the exception of them stating that "THEY DO NOT SUPPORT THIS CAR SHOW"
This has started a bit of a **** show on facebook, which is very unfortunate.
We (MARQUIS Car Club) have in NO way done anything to disrespect them or any of their endeavors, and have only been respectful to them.
From the beginning we have stressed that we are doing this because the Walworth County Fair Grounds is a perfect place for a nice car show/swap meet, and we in no way are trying to compete with them. They made the decision to not have this show this year.
Our MARQUIS Car Club is very small, approx ~26 members, and we have worked very hard to make this show happen with another organization.
Madison Cl***ics usually charges, $10 for spectators and $50-60 for car corral and also charges for car parking on site.
We are charging $5 per spectator, as well as $5.00 YES FIVE DOLLARS for all cl***ic cars to park inside. We also are offering special parking for any and all Car Clubs that reserve spots ahead of time, so they can all part together.
Our Car club will also be making ZERO profit.
Every bit of the profits will be going to three local charities... yes every bit.
Lastly, to my disappointment, several post on Madison Cl***ics home facebook page explaining our position have been removed, including mine. I also have been blocked from commenting on their site.
My biggest disappointment is their not supporting us. I am (78) years old and like all of us encourage anyone to keep our love of old and cl***ic cars alive and well.
Feel free to look up their Official Announcement on their home page.

  22. It looks like this is in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
I am tentatively scheduled to drop off a
vehicle about 60 miles away in Marshall
    around August 1st.

I will try and swing by.

Isn’t “Madison Cl***ics” a business not a club? I believe most people think it is an organization (Automotive Club) but in reality is is a profit generating business.
(Kind of like NSRA and GoodGuys)
