Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

It seems like I remember most customs I saw or knew about back in the late 50's and early 60's in local parking lots on the east coast most were chopped but none that I remember had glass.

Was it because nobody could afford, didn't know where to get custom glass, or what the problem was. Anyone got any ideas?

 

I've seen a couple of shoebox and Merc's without glass around here too. My guess would be that they didn't chop the car around the glass. But I don't know for sure.

 

Me, I don't count a stock Zephyr as a custom. I don't care if it has broken suspension. I assume it's the same one that keeps getting posted.
