Copied this off FB, what a kool build…..Christian Ruhle owns a shop in Stuttgart Germany called Rühle Motors. This 59 Chevy wagon converted to two door Nomad status is looking so killer. It’s so well executed it’s hard to believe it’s not stock.

 

I remember sitting in the back of a 64 impala station wagon going by here having my dad check out what is going on here.
Shop still in business.

 

Is that the place in south buffalo? Mickey Taylor louvered my 47 Ford hood there in the 80's

 

HEY, I built this car for Bill McDonnell, around 32 years ago! Haven't seen it in over 15! Where is it now???????? Painted it in Black nitrocellulose lacquer, still looks good in the pics. Scalloped it almost 18 years ago, for him.

 

I knew it was kool but didn't know it was chopolds kool!! Someone shared it and it didn't have any info. I'll go ack and double check, hopefully I can find some current information.

 

I saw some guys on here making jokes that the real show is downstairs, and didn't know what that meant. Then yesterday I heard the ad for the show on the radio and heard that's where the rr's will be, lol.

 

Lol! I've never been but I'm a car nerd. Just looking at all the pics posted, Detroit attracts a lot of kool vehicles.

I don't know where you got the idea that the basement was for the rr's as you put it, but there are traditional rods, customs, competition cars and bands. The basement is the most fun part of the show.You need to come and experience it for your self.
