Hot Rods 29 model a sport coupe, Top or no top.

I have a chance to buy a 29 sport coupe, in many pieces. Just wondering if anyone has left the top off. I have not found any top bows or top. If anyone has left the top, what all was done? Thanks Ron

 

The top will make it all weather!

 

The doors are like a coupe with roll up windows. HRP

 

They look goofy without a top. Even with the door window frame removed, the windshield stanchions look odd. It needs a top!

 

The top structure is wood and is available

That without a top kinder becomes a Coupester.
Search on here as there are a couple of nice examples of such projects.
IMHO no top is kinder tricky to get a good look.
As mentioned a top finishes it and makes it an all weather hot rod...
If you are really feeling lucky, you could find a coupe roof for it.
I've always wondered why repro companies never did make a bolt on coupe roof for such situations.

 

Well mine is a 30 but still will give you a shot with the top. I put new wood in mine when I built it and the wood and top aren't cheap but make the car for me.
