Man, what a great time, we just got home with no breakdowns or anything. I can't believe the rain stayed away until late. Saw some amazing cars, Norm Grabowski driving up in "el polako", just an amazing time all around. My ears are still ringing, my back hurts and my knees are sore but it was definately worth it. Big thanks to all involved, Ryan, Roothawg, Kevin Lee and everyone else who made it possible. Kick ass time.

Mannnnnn, Im sorry I missed it.

Worse part is, not cause I couldnt make it, but cause I was too lazy to fix the motor mount on the 35, to get around to making the plans to get there and Hotel, just plain Lazy.

    Shame On Me! :(

Looks like you all had fun though! Any You Tube Videos coming our way?

    Zman,

Thanks for the memories, I enjoyed talking to you, you'll not remember, I'm just another face in the crowd, but it WAS a great time, rain or shine, one which I'll relive for a long time. I didn't think last year could be beat, but this weekend was just too cool.

Man what a great time at the whole event. Fri nite parkinglot meet and greet = fun. Nice to meet every one and good to see other hambers again. Boy this thing is growing by leeps and bounds. Last year we(st.louis gasser, biggen and my self) came down in a driver and this year we came with the bug eyed sprite, orange henery J, blown injected blue chevyII, my sedan, St. Louis gassers 55, and two 34 fords. That is a step up in showing. Next year will be my f.e.d. i swear it will be there. Anyone that knows me knows it has been too long of a project. Also the drive out to MoKan from Joplin is just great. Flat land is nice to drive with a chopped top, in kansas you only need a 3" wind shield. Well any way great time and cant wait till next year.

  14. Hey zman, It was good meeting you and tingler (and everyone else I can't remember) this weekend. I hope you guys had a good trip home.

I never met Tingler....where was he? Post a pic. I may have talked to him and never knew it.

  16. I don't think I have any pics with him in it. He rode with zman and hung out by the brat grills, on the corner of the hotel fri. night. Cool dude. Not quite right, but still a cool dude.

  18. ZMAN - Great shots!!! Its like being there. Nice meeting you and your new crew. Just got back - 12.5 hours of glass packs. Me and Big A had ringing ears when we shut her off. I gotta shower and get ready to work tomorrow - I can't wait to look through all those pictures again when I am more awake. You were busy with that camera :D

Propstrike - I'll be sending you PM tomorrow

  19. Ya sure ,we got back about 4:15 PM we left at 6:18 AM 9hrs 27 min we flew never went below 80

  20. I'll be adding some photos tomorrow, I hope. I think I got some good ones, but my camera took a bath on the way home. If it dries out by morning I'll fire it up.

Anyone know anything about drying out... a camera.

Actually, I could use some drying out myself. There were a few drinks consumed this weekend... he says, with a scotch in his hand.

    :D

    What a weekend.

Man that was such a blast!!! We had 3 cars from our club there and one of them was on the H.A.M.B Drags shirt so that's kick ass. My step dad and I swap driving duties just for fun and ended up re-igniting his love of the drags. We had 4 passes 1 bad for him 1 bad for me and then we had it figured out. I ran a 14.30 at like 94mph but it was still fun, we would have lost our asses to McPhail if the eliminations would have happend. Here's a link to my pics not a bunch but it was a busy weekend. Oh and the 13th photo you can see McPhail's head studying the track. I asked how come he wasn't there yet and he was like "I haven't done this before" later that night he ran a 13 something... lucky bastard. Oh here is the link to some pics. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/cynik@sbcglobal.net/album?.dir=/6bf6scd

  22. zman thanks for the hippie beer it was good to see you again.

I had a great time as always
The truck Ran faster than ever before
Got to hang out with everyone

Me and Thunderrocket got soaked a couple of times on the trip back but what are you gonna do, right???

Anybody have pictures of the maroon fleetline with the I6 and Fenton stuff. We met up with him on the 44 going home and they followed me going a little
over the posted speed from Tulsa to south of OKC when we stopped to eat.
I liked the car when I saw it in the parking lot, now I really like it. I didn't
think a 6 could run like that.

Now I'm off to bed to drive the truck to Atlanta work a couple days then hit
    dixi fried. :) :)

It was great meeting everybody that I did-- Bob K cracks me up!

I had a great time as always, its just so hard to put HAMB names with faces, so I did the best I could at saying hello to folks.

I'll get my pics up from work tomorrow if I have time.

    all the best,

    jay
