My brother is looking for a headliner kit for his '56 Fordor HARDTOP (not sedan) Body Style 57A. My parts book shows the base # but it's black-starred (obsolete).
I figure the # for it would probably be B5A- or B6A-5751916 *** (not sure if the '55s would be same).
I checked some of the usual suspects for a source but only found listings for sedans.
Does anyone know of a possible source? Thx.
(I put a note on the Ford Barn too)

I think it should be the same as a '55 "high-roof" Victoria (B5A-6051916-?), but there are two styles depending on how many top bows and C-pillar trim it has. Try Larry's Thunderbird and Mustang as they also carry '55-'56 full-size soft trim. It's where I got my not-yet installed one for my '55 Victoria.

The roof structure is virtually the same between the high-roof 55 2dr ht and the 56 fordor Victoria ht. That's why I suggested looking into it. Trust me on this one.

From the '56 Soft Trim Catalog, Headliners for a '56 4-door hardtop Body Type 57 are B6A 5751916-AAD (Trim code BG), -ABS (Trim code BS), -AAD (Trim code BV), and -AAD (Trim code BX).

Here's the page from Larry's Thunderbird & Mustang for the 4-door Victoria headliner:

    https://www.larrystbird.com/product/headliner-victoria-4-door-56-white/

Roof A- and C-pillars should be the same for height and location between the '55 2-door HIGH ROOF Victoria hardtop (Body Type 60B) and the '56 4-door Town Victoria hardtop (Body Type 57A). Both should NOT be confused with '55-'56 Crown Victorias (Body Type 64A/64B) and the '56 Victoria (Body Type 64C), which have the lower roofline. The vent window ***embly in a '55 Victoria (again, please DO NOT be confused with the '55-'56 Crown Victoria 64A/64B and the '56 Victoria 64C hardtop) is the same height as the '56 Town Victoria ***embly.

SMS Auto fabrics is the only place I would recommend. They made one for my wagon and the quality is excellent. They are direct reproductions of factory colors and patterns.

Google WLS Headliners and check them out. I couldn’t get the link to work. I called just with some questions and they were very helpful. It’d be worth a shot they could tell you off the body code.
