I had posted a "Whats it worth" on my vintage IFS.. I can't find it now but I did not see anything on it getting deleted or moved. When I search for it, it does not show up. When I go back to my browser history, it shows an error that it can't be found.

How do I find out what happened?

Probably two reasons. That front end isnt 'traditional' and 'whats it worth' posts are generally frowned upon. Perhaps PM an admin for clarification.

I did some research on it and it looked like as you alluded the Fatman setup...so perhaps you could research or call them up to see if they still sell an iteration of and for how much then ballpark a price or use it...understand it may not be complete. What I did see was your axles seemed a well done more tubular versus I beam and also seemed unmatched to the center section due to the rust but that may have been a storage issue. Was it a prototype, dunno...

    Here's the link I found...

At least it's a form of suspension that is loosely inspired along the Allard lines versus pinto or M11, and may work well if installed correctly. Was it deemed OT or as alluded perhaps it was indeed the what's it worth issue...PM one of the Mods...they are approachable and Hotrodders too...

Your "vintage" IFS wasn't really vintage. They were made around the turn of the century. Not really appropriate for the HAMB.

Appreciate the responses and guess it must have fallen into areas that aren't liked. It is a split tublar version with a 1" drop. They did come with the setup. I have not ever installed them as I sold my '31 roadster years ago and had a few parts left over. The ironic thing is I bought them here in the cl***ified section years ago. I think I will just run them on craigslist or eBay. I wanted craigslist so I don't have to worry about shipping as they are heavy but eBay will at least let them bid up versus sticking a price on them. Anyway, I had hoped it was worth $100 - $200 but not sure about that..

yeah, we don't discuss Modern IFS setups here at all and we frown upon what is it worth threads because those usually turn into selling on the main board and that is what the cl***ifieds are for....
